It Is Expected That More Than 50% Of Expats Working For Sub Contractors Will Be Laid Off In The Next Three Months

The majority of government agencies  operating "Subcontracting Companies" and expatriates working for them, especially those working in non-technical bodies, as the last days witnessed actual and serious steps towards the necessity of ending this, which has remained in place over the past years to Achieve Kuwaitization

In a related context, the head of the Parliamentary Human Resources Development Committee, Deputy Khalil Al-Saleh, told that “the committee has taken concrete steps to address the fields of replacement and correcting the demographic problem. Al-Saleh called on the government agencies concerned with the substitution to "accomplish what was agreed upon and expedite the treatment of the imbalance, especially that there are expatriates working in non-technical jobs in the government sector," warning against "proceeding with the previous policy that was not dealing seriously with the subcontracts."
He preferred to end the file of non-technical government jobs during the coming period, stressing ,the need for the service bureau to deal seriously with Resolution 11/2017 regarding the rules and procedures for government jobs in government, to reach in some job groups to 100 percent of the total workforce, and provide jobs Which can be replaced by Kuwaitis.
