Indian Embassy Warns About Fake Job Offers From Kuwait
The Indian Embassy in Kuwait has issued a warning on its website advising Indians not to fall victim to fake job offers from Kuwait.
The warning was posted on the embassy website after it came across frequent cases of fake job offers being made by unscrupulous agencies/agents in the name of respectable Kuwaiti Companies/Business entities.
Indian applicants, without exercising due prior caution, are either landing up in Kuwait or are making substantial payments for jobs that do not exist / have never been offered.Â
Through the notice, Indian Embassy urges all concerned to exercise utmost care and caution, read the Do’s and Don’ts on Mission’s website, and also verify the authenticity of the job offers as well as the genuineness of the Visas directly from the company.Â
The officer concerned in this Embassy can also be contacted at: attachelabour@indembkwt.gov.in, labour@indembkwt.gov.in in case of suspicious offers, the warning added.
