Indian Embassy Activates Emergency Helpline Following Mangaf Fire Tragedy

In response to the tragic fire at the Mangaf labor camp involving Indian workers, the Embassy of India has activated an emergency helpline at +965-65505246. All concerned parties are requested to use this helpline for updates.

Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Adarsh Swaika, visited the site and assured full assistance. He also visited the injured in the hospital, stating, "The Embassy remains committed to render all possible assistance."

India's External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar, expressed deep shock over the incident, which has resulted in over 40 deaths and more than 50 hospitalizations, with the majority of the deceased being Indian nationals. "Deepest condolences to the families of those who tragically lost their lives. Wish early and full recovery to those who have been injured. Our Embassy will render the fullest assistance to all concerned in this regard," Dr. Jaishankar tweeted.
