The Ministry Of Awqaf Appointed 74 Expats After 2017
The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs hired 74 expatriates after issuing Amiri Decree 17/2017 in the year 2017.
75 percent of non-Kuwaiti appointees work as imams and muezzins, while 25% work in government jobs, according to the minister.
Five non-Kuwaitis have been appointed to the General Authority for the Quran, bringing the total number of non-Kuwaitis to seven. In the Public Authority for Minors Affairs, one person is appointed.
