Heat Waves Will Affect Kuwait
During the day on Thursday, moderate northwesterly winds are expected to be active, causing dust at times, especially in open areas, according to the Kuwait Meteorological Department. The head of the Marine Forecasting Department at the department, Yasser Al-Balushi, explained that these hot air masses are caused by the extension of the Indian seasonal depression, but the air mass is experiencing some changes, starting in the evening, as Kuwait is experiencing relatively humid air masses, especially along the coastal areas.
In open areas, the very hot air masses continue to cause dust at times.
According to Al-Balushi, the weather will be very hot Thursday, with northwesterly winds fluctuating between light and moderate speed, sometimes active, ranging between 12 and 42 kilometers per hour, causing dust on open areas. Maximum temperatures are forecast to range between 45 and 47 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate. Wave heights range from 1 to 5 feet. In the evening, he stated there would be hot and relatively humid conditions on the coasts, and winds will fluctuate to northwesterly, light to moderate, with speeds between 8 and 35 kilometers per hour. The expected minimum temperature will be between 34 and 37 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate, with waves and heights between 1 and 4 feet.
According to him, coastal areas will have relatively hot and humid weather on Friday, with northeasterly to fluctuating winds, light to moderate, with speeds between 8 and 35 kilometers per hour, and temperatures between 44 and 46 degrees Celsius, and a slow sea and waves between 1 and 4 feet high. Weather conditions Friday night are expected to be hot and very humid in coastal areas, with light to moderate southeasterly winds, ranging from 8 to 28 kilometers per hour, and a minimum temperature between 34 and 36 degrees Celsius, as well as light to moderate sea waves of between 1 and 3 feet in height.
