Health Minister Has Taken Decision Increase In Prices Of 1336 Medicines

Health Minister Dr Jamal Al-Harbi has taken several decisions including the increase in prices of 1,336 medicines, 24 nutritional supplements and pharmaceutical concoctions.

The decisions consist of bylaws pertaining to the prices of medicines, pharmaceutical concoctions and nutritional supplements about 45 percent increase based on public interest and recommendation of the Medicine Pricing Committee formed through ministerial resolution number 136/2011.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health has adopted the list of private sector surgeries for the following specializations: ophthalmology, nose, throat, ears, face, jaw and plastic surgery.
