Hashish Smuggling Attempt Foiled, 74 Kg Found

The Kuwait Coast Guard thwarted an attempt to smuggle 74 kilograms of hashish. Radar spotted a boat entering territorial waters near Umm Al Maradim Island, according to the Ministry of Interior. An immediate Coast Guard patrol was dispatched to seize the boat. The boat contained three people and 74 packets of hashish weighing one kilo each. To take the necessary legal measures against them, they were referred to the competent authority.
