Hajj Permits Suspended Via Nusuk App By Kuwait

The Hajj and Umrah Department in the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has announced that the issuance of Hajj permits through Nusuk application is suspended and those visiting Saudi Arabia without a Hajj or Umrah permit will be banned from entering Makkah from 15 Zulqeda to 15 Zulhejja, reports Al- Anba daily quoting reliable sources. Sources disclosed that the Kuwaiti Hajj Delegation headed by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr. Badr Al-Mutairi will travel to Saudi Arabia on Thursday to start welcoming Kuwaiti pilgrims and facilitate their holy trip.

Sources said the Hajj caravans will issue Hajj permits for registered individuals in the next few days, affirming that the pilgrims from Kuwait will start heading to the holy places on the first of Zulhejja. Meanwhile, Dr. Bader Al-Mutairi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and head of the Hajj delegation, emphasized the importance of the mission members being exemplary ambassadors for Kuwait during the Hajj journey, reports Al-Jarida daily. He urged them to uphold honorable conduct and adhere to the regulations and laws of Saudi Arabia, ensuring that the Kuwaiti delegation stands in solidarity with the Kingdom and contributes to the success of the Hajj season.

The meeting for mission members, held at the Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, gathered representatives from various participating ministries. Muhammad Al-Mutairi, the Assistant Undersecretary for the Media and Foreign Relations Sector and Deputy Head of the Hajj Mission, highlighted the honor of being selected to serve Kuwaiti pilgrims. He called for unity, diligence, and cooperation among all members to ensure the effective representation of Kuwait and the Hajj delegation. Al-Mutairi emphasized the need for a comprehensive action plan from the first day of arrival in Mecca until the end of the journey. He stressed the importance of documenting all activities undertaken by the mission to provide a detailed report to the Council of Ministers, ensuring transparency and accountability in the mission’s work. This collaborative effort aims to ensure the smooth and successful completion of the Hajj journey for Kuwaiti pilgrims
