Government Employees Return To Work; Fears Of Traffic Congestion
After the blessed Eid Al-Fitr holiday on Saturday, government employees returned to work as soon as possible (seven official working hours), according to the schedule set by their respective employers, in order to prevent any traffic congestion on the roads and highways, as happened after national holidays.
A local Arabic newspaper reported that the Civil Service Commission differs in the timing of the beginning of work by half an hour to an hour in order to reduce road congestion. The employees are still required to work seven hours a day.
The sources said the CSC Integrated Systems Sector coordinates with other authorities as they prepare to receive their employees.
As a result of the consequences of the Corona pandemic, which cast a shadow over all aspects of Kuwaiti life or the world in general, the CSC had earlier issued a circular regarding attendance as an alternative to calculating hours of delay for the years 2021 and 2022 depending on the fingerprint system.
Added the sources, "The Bureau is preparing a circular to announce the return of the old system and the use of fingerprints for assessing employees' performance for the next year, which is a key criterion for rewarding outstanding employees.".
Taking note of the fact that the CSC has published a decision pertaining to the rules, principles, procedures, and dates for evaluating the performance of employees based on job performance, and 30% based on fingerprints as proof of attendance.
