Global Consultant To Evaluate Joint Business Opportunities At Kotc

The Kuwait Oil Tanker Company is looking into possible partnerships and joint ventures for its tankers.

According to sources speaking to a local Arabic daily, the company intends to rely on a global consultant to provide advisory services, and it has four international consultants on its list, while the competition will be limited to two companies at the end of the negotiation rounds, with only one actually providing the services.

According to the sources, A.T.KEARNEY FZ-LLC, one of the consulting firms, submitted an initial bid of around $1.145 million, but the value of the bid was reduced after the second discussion to $895,000.

The "Boston Group" company submitted a bid of $1.3 million and did not lower it during the first and second negotiations, while the third company, "Middle East Strategist," did not meet the technical specifications and was not called for negotiations after submitting a bid of $565,000, and the fourth company, "Middle East Strategist," did not submit a bid.
