Gcc National Was Arrested For Attempting To Smuggle 464 Cartons Of Cigarette Packs

A GCC national was arrested at Nuwaiseeb border checkpoint for attempting to smuggle 464 cartons of cigarette packs out of the country, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

According to sources, one of the customs inspectors at the border checkpoint suspected a GCC national who was leaving the country and checked his vehicle to find the cigarette cartons hidden in various places inside the vehicle. The suspect was arrested and referred with the confiscated cigarette packs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
