Gcc Countries Record More Than 15,000 New Covid Infections Within Past 24 Hours

The Gulf Cooperation Council countries recorded a noticeable increase in the number of daily infections with the Corona virus during the past day, reaching more than 15,000 in the six countries.

Qatar posted the highest number of new infections (3,487) within 24 hours, followed by Saudi Arabia with 3,460, reports Al-Rai daily.

The United Arab Emirates recorded 2,759 new infections and the Sultanate of Oman 967; the Kingdom of Bahrain has not announced the daily statistics but yesterday Manama announced the registration of 1,424 new infections while Kuwait continues to set unprecedented records when it recorded 2,299 on Sunday.
