Gathering Dispersed In Front Of Car Showroom In Al-rai
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) authorities dispersed a gathering in front of a car showroom in the Al-Rai area and arrested a wanted man. The Ministry’s operations room was alerted to a group gathering in front of a car showroom in the Al-Rai area, and immediately a security force headed to the area to disband the gathering, Al Rai daily reported.
The people were told more than once that the gathering is prohibited by law. However, they did not comply with the orders and attacked the security men. When security authorities attempted to break the gathering, one of them attacked the security men. The authorities subdued the person, and he was found to not carry identification papers and was a wanted man by the security authorities, so he was arrested and a case registered against him in preparation for referring him to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures against him.
The Ministry of Interior affirmed that it will not tolerate anyone who tries to break the law or commits acts that violate public security. The administration also called upon citizens and expats to stay away from the illegal gathering and to abide by the laws and preventive health measures issued by the Council of Ministers.
