From Day One, The New Government Gets Down To Business
The government has swiftly shifted gears to translate the goals outlined in its new program into tangible actions, demonstrating a proactive approach to meet citizens' expectations. After the inaugural government meeting last Thursday, ministers wasted no time in initiating key steps to propel the nation forward, as reported by Al-Rai daily.
Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Al-Sabah's emphasis on a forward-looking economic vision has spurred ministers to action. Those responsible for shaping the new economic identity and restructuring government entities have already devised an action plan and identified priorities to align with the government's overarching objectives.
Reliable sources reveal that affiliated agencies and institutions are actively preparing their visions for the upcoming phase. This involves setting clear goals, addressing challenges from previous plans, and presenting strategies to overcome obstacles.
Over the weekend, key ministers engaged in fieldwork, with visits and inspections to assess progress and developments. The Minister of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy, Dr. Salem Al-Hajraf, inspected the Doha West and East power stations, evaluating ongoing work and gaining insights into the electrical network's management at the main control center. Minister Al-Hajraf actively engaged with officials and workers, gathering valuable feedback.
Simultaneously, Minister of Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, Dr. Noura Al-Mishaan, conducted inspections of critical projects. She reviewed the new airport project, ensuring its progress aligned with expectations, and toured southern areas, examining roads and assessing general cleanliness in Al-Wafra Residential Area, Sabah Al-Ahmad, and Ali Sabah Al-Salem.
These proactive measures underscore the government's commitment to hands-on management, expediting crucial projects, and meeting the community's needs. The momentum set in motion after the government meeting signals a dedication to realizing the outlined objectives swiftly and efficiently.
