Finance Minister Refuses To Allocate Kd 53 Million For Highway Maintenance

The Ministry of Finance rejected the Ministry of Public Works’ request to amend the financial appropriations for 6 construction projects and radical maintenance of Kuwait highways at a cost of KD 53 million dinars, Al-Rai reported.

Informed sources told the daily that the Ministry of Finance’s refusal to include these projects in the ministry’s draft budget for the new fiscal year would slow down the pace of highway maintenance operations.
