Farwaniya Municipality Team Demolishes 14 Illegal Structures

Farwaniya Municipality Emergency Team demolished 14 illegal structures encroaching on public property. The violations included tents and gardens at various locations within the governorate, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Team Leader Khalid Al-Rod’an said the team will continue to demolish any structure encroaching on public property after necessary legal procedures may have been explored. He declared the officials have been going around the governorate in three shifts or on a daily basis to record any form of misuse or violation.

He stressed the officials on shifts A, B and C inspected several shops, restaurants and supermarkets within the governorate leading to the closure of 8 shops administratively. He noted the officials ensure that food items displayed for sale satisfy safety and healthy criteria. He urged operators of shops and restaurants to ensure they secure licenses before starting the business to avoid violating regulations.
