Expats Indemnity - Moe

To pay the end-of-service benefits of 271 expatriate employees whose services ended over the last few months, the Ministry of Education has requested approval from its finance counterpart. As revealed by an educational source, the item for end-of-service benefits for non-Kuwaitis under subcontract is in deficit; meaning the dues will be disbursed immediately once the transfer procedures are completed.

Formerly, end-of-service benefits for non-Kuwaiti employees used to be paid through the Civil Service Commission (CSC) before its budget was transferred to government agencies for each to use its own general budget.
