Expat Workers' Services With Embassy Officials Are Reviewed By Pam
The Public Authority for Manpower, in order to protect expatriate workers' rights and to identify important issues facing them, organized a visual presentation at its headquarters with 15 diplomatic missions and labor attachés from embassies describing its services for expatriate workers.
According to the report by a local daily, the representatives of the departments provided a full explanation of the role of each of the competent departments in the authority and which fall under the jurisdiction of expatriate labor affairs, such as the Labor Relations Department, the Expat Accommodation Center, the Labor Inspection Department, the Department for Regulating the Recruitment of Domestic Workers, the National Center for Occupational Health and Safety, and the Department of International Relations.
Furthermore, the source explained that the General Authority is keen to organize meetings to boost cooperation between Kuwait and diplomatic missions, which is in the interest of labor and employment. In order to remove any confusion or misinformation regarding state nationals, PAM specialists answered questions and discussed the topic.
