Ensure Law And Order With Sustained Security Campaigns, Says Minister
In a formal statement, the Ministry of the Interior reports that Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled presided over today's security meeting. As part of the Ministry's regular interactions with security leaders, this meeting took place.
Anwar Al-Barjas, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and a group of assistant undersecretaries discussed the traffic situation during the first week of the new academic year during the meeting, reports Al-Qabas daily.
In particular, they focused on strategies to manage traffic congestion, especially during peak hours, so that students could enter and exit educational institutions smoothly.
In addition, the Minister reviewed the results of intensive security and traffic campaigns conducted by different departments of the Ministry of Interior targeting violators and lawbreakers.
In his remarks, he stressed the importance of sustained security campaigns against violators and individuals who threaten the security of the nation. Among other things, the Minister stressed the necessity of enforcing the law unequivocally, addressing traffic congestion as a top priority. This involves deploying traffic patrols across major and minor roads, assessing intersections to ensure smooth traffic flow, and taking a resolute stance against any misbehavior. As part of his advocacy, he called for intensified public awareness campaigns to promote traffic safety, promote adherence to traffic regulations, and instill fundamental values and loyalty to the country.
In his remarks, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled praised the relentless efforts of all sectors within the Ministry of Interior. A constructive feedback was provided as well as a directive to implement measures that would effectively counter any violations of the law.
