Embassy Advises Completing Amnesty Procedure By June 13 Ahead Of Eid Holidays

In light of the upcoming Eid Al Adha holidays in Kuwait, the Indian Embassy urges all Indian nationals without valid residency to complete the amnesty procedures by June 13th.

Kuwait has announced an amnesty for expatriates without legal documents, allowing them to rectify their status or leave the country without paying fines. This amnesty will end on June 17th. However, the ministry offices and the embassy will be closed for Eid Al Adha from June 14th.

In a statement, the Indian Embassy advised those intending to return to India without valid travel documents to apply at any Indian Consular Application Centre well before June 13, 2024, as it is the last working day before the amnesty deadline.
