Islamic months span 29 or 30 days, based on the Moon's visibility. If the Moon is seen tonight, Thursday, Ramadan will have lasted 29 days. Eid will occur on Friday, and residents will enjoy a four-day holiday to mark the occasion.

Muslims in the UAE and across the globe are encouraged to look for the crescent moon on Thursday evening (April 20), which aligns with Ramadan 29 (1444 AH) in the Islamic calendar.
