During Eid, Kuwait Airport Is Expecting 542,161 Passengers
A total of 542,161 people are expected to travel to and from Kuwait International Airport between July 7 and July 16 for the Eid al-Adha holiday, according to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. Yousef Al-Fouzan, the general director, told Kuwait News Agency that there would be a total of 3,484 flights within the specified period. He said that there would be a total of 1,737 flights with 285 155 people on board, while there will be 1,747 flights with 257 006 passengers on board.
Al-Fouzan claimed that Cairo, Dubai, Istanbul, Doha, and Jeddah are the most popular travel destinations. He also reaffirmed that the directorate was prepared for the summer and the Eid holiday, praising the assistance of other government agencies.
