Dozens Of Egyptian Judges And Advisors Return To Kuwait
The day before yesterday, Kuwait International Airport received the first flight for the return of judicial personnel, members of the Public Prosecution, and foreign employees working in the Ministry of Justice from prohibited countries, in implementation of the decision of the Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies to return some employees from outside the country.
Dozens of Egyptian judges, advisors and employees returned on a direct flight from Cairo to Kuwait on board a Kuwaiti Airways plane, where they were allowed to enter the country after providing the Corona Emergency Ministerial Committee with the lists of names approved by the Ministry of Justice.
A source told that employees who have obtained government agency approvals and approved by the Corona Emergency Ministerial Committee, will not be subject to the decision to stay and settle in non-prohibited countries for a period of 14 days, and then they are allowed to enter the country.
“According to the previously granted approvals, foreign employees will be allowed to enter Kuwait from prohibited countries, whether they come directly or through the transit,” he said.
The source confirmed that the return of employees to the country is subject to the discretion of the government authorities by submitting a request specifying the names of those whom the ministry wishes to return to be presented to the Ministerial Committee for Corona Emergencies to study and issue approvals officially. And he indicated that the medical procedures that will be applied to foreign employees are to present an approved PCR certificate proving the negative infection with the virus, with a commitment to home quarantine for a period of two weeks
