"do Not Pay Any Extra Money For Nurses' Recruitment," Ambassador Brief Nurses Recruitment Process In The Open House
"You're not supposed to pay even a single rupee more than the Indian government prescribed recruitment fee for any recruitment of Indian nurses to Kuwait," Ambassador Shri Sibi George said.
He was speaking to the community members during the Open house organised by the Embassy at its auditorium on Wednesday, September 29th.
As per India government notification, the recruiters can charge a maximum of 30,000 rupees only for the recruitment of Nurses. Any single rupee extra charged is a scam. If anyone asking for this, please bring it to my notice, and we will take action against them, Ambassador said. We are looking for the direct recruitment of nurses from India by the Ministry of Health. Discussions have already started in this regard and are expected to be finalised soon, Ambassador said.
I am also trying to reduce the cost of recruitment of domestic workers to Kuwait from India, Sibi George said.
Several association representatives attended the Open house held at the Embassy auditorium.
I have met all the leaders at the Ministry of Health. Kuwait is not charging any amount for the recruitment of Indian nurses.
Ambassador also discussed various issues with the association representatives and members of the nursing community during the open house.
The Embassy is open to all, and if you have any issue in Kuwait, you can directly approach the Embassy without any middle man, Ambassador said. "We have issued 12 WhatsApp numbers. You can send your issues with all details to these WhatsApp numbers in any Indian language; you can even send your voice message. We will make sure that your issue is addressed," Ambassador Sibi George said.
A presentation of various activities undertaken by the Embassy during the month also was displayed during the open house. The Embassy continues to provide various services to the community members.
