Dgca Announces Health Guidelines For Airlines Staff
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) released a circular regarding the health precautions for airlines staff. According to the statement sent to all airlines operating at Kuwait International Airport, they must adhere to the following health instructions.
To start with all airlines staff have to comply with all requirements and instructions mentioned in the health protocol released earlier. It mentioned that Crowne Plaza Kuwait Al Thuraya City hotel has been selected by the authorities as an alternative to the airport transit hotel in the Kuwait International airport, and aircraft crews are kindly requested to consider using the hotel.
When the flight crews arrive at Kuwait International Airport, a list of crew names will be sent to the immigration and ministry of health officers. After completion of airport entry procedures, the crew will be received by the hotel representative who will escort them to the hotel with provided hotel transportation. Under the rules, Airline Crews are permitted to enter State of Kuwait without having or completing a PCR test at the airport while complying with the periodic testing program for crews to ensure they are free of the coronavirus in coordination with the ministry of health.
