Deportation Of Those Renting Out Housing To Bachelors

Kuwait Municipality's Acting Director General Eng. Saud Al-Dabbous revealed a new procedure that was agreed upon during the meeting of the committee, which was formed to limit the phenomenon of bachelors living in private and model housing last week. The procedure involves deportation of the foreign investor in the event of evidence of his exploitation of any property in private houses to rent to bachelors, reports Al-Rai daily.

Additionally, he revealed that the procedure includes issuing two citations to the owner of the property, one for a building violation and the other for renting to bachelors. According to Al-Dabbous, the municipality monitors about 1,156 bachelor's residences in private and model residential areas.
