Csc Ends Advisor Services
Civil Service Council members have decided to end the services and expertise of all advisors in ministerial offices and government institutions. This comes after the decree forming the previous government expired.
A source told Al-Qabas daily that the Civil Service Bureau has advised all ministries and government agencies to work toward ending the use of expertise by all, whether retired or not, who seek assistance outside the official working hours at their original workplaces, as well as workers at ministers' offices or affiliated agencies.
According to the sources, the CSC notified ministries on June 17 that the use of expertise from those covered by the decision would cease. A number of agencies have already informed their advisors.
The sources indicated that the competent minister would need to address the CSC separately if he wanted to hire any of the experienced and qualified retirees for work in any of his affiliates.
