Thieves Take Cash – Two Hits Reported

The Sulaibikhat and Sa’ad Al-Abdullah districts have witnessed two robberies. The first happened in the house of a Kuwaiti family when the latter went shopping and the other a car break-in of another Kuwaiti while the latter was performing Taraweeh prayers, reports Al-Anba daily. 
Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints. According to a security source, a Kuwaiti who is believed to be in his 50s, told the police after he returned home after midnight with his family from a shopping trip he was shocked to find someone had scattered things all over the place and the thief had escaped with KD 8,000 from the safe.

 

In the second theft in Saad Al-Abdullah the Kuwaiti said after he returned from the mosque he discovered someone had broken the glass of his car and stolen KD 50, personal documents and two ATM cards
