Citizens' Wages Increase By 113 Dinars Per Month
According to recent official figures, Kuwaitis' average gross monthly income in the public and private labor markets has climbed by 113 dinars per month over the last five years, with the average monthly wage at the end of last year being 1,491 dinars, up from 1,378 dinars five years earlier.
According to a comparison report prepared by a local Arabic daily based on recent labor market statistics released by the Central Administration of Statistics, the average monthly wage for all Kuwaitis in the government sector increased by 82 dinars over the five years from the end of 2016 to the end of 2021, from 1,457 dinars per month in 2016 to 1,539 dinars per month last December.
According to the numbers, Kuwaiti males' average monthly income in the government sector climbed by 148 dinars, while Kuwaiti ladies average wage increased by only 58 dinars.

Kuwaitis will earn an average monthly pay of 1,491 dinars by the end of 2021.
Five years ago, the average monthly wage was 1,378 dinars.
The average wage for male government employees has increased by 148 dinars.
The average wage for female government employees has increased by 58 dinars.
In the private sector, male wages have increased by 183 dinars.
Kuwaiti women's salaries in the private sector have increased by 176 dinars.
