Capt Approves Contract For ‘t2 Airport Road’ Worth 3.6 Million Dinars
The Central Agency for Public Tenders has approved the request of the Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport for direct contracting to provide supervision services for the construction, completion, development, and maintenance of roads and intersections that serve the new passenger building “T2” on Al-Maqwa Road with a global consultant in coordination with one of the local engineering offices.
Al-Jarida quoting PART sources said the project is worth 3.6 million dinars and the duration is 36 months.
PART sources stated that the goal of the project is to raise the level of road service and to accommodate the expected number of cars that will use the road to and from the new airport in the coming years after the completion of the project, according to studies developed by the General Traffic Department and PART.
In a separate context, the Ministry of Public Works has proposed several infrastructure and maintenance projects in many governorates which are being studied by the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT). At the forefront of these projects is the construction, completion, and maintenance of a rainwater drainage sewer in the West Abdullah Al-Mubarak area.
