Bid To Curb Price Rise
There has been great coordination between the competent authorities in commercial affairs, to control inflation in the prices of goods in the market, by setting quality controls and mechanisms, reports Annahar daily. According to reliable sources, specific mechanisms will prevent price fluctuations, especially with regard to foodstuffs, building materials and others. The sources told the daily the government has moved at the right time to curb the rise in the prices of building materials by taking decisions to increase the supply and prevent any abuse by some unscrupulous traders.
The sources pointed out that the absence of a culture of liquidity management, with the increase in the ceiling for borrowing and the increase in cash, highlights the importance of supervision, as increased levels of liquidity raises the purchasing power, which calls for tighter control and enforcement of the law on violators. The government aims to increase the supply of goods and services and their availability in the local market sufficiently for citizens and residents.
