At The Grand Mosque, There Will Be No Tarawih Or Qiyam Prayers.

There will be no Tarawih and Qiyam prayers in the main prayer hall of the Grand Mosque of the State this year, according to the Ministry of Awqaf.

A local Arabic daily reported that maintenance and renovation work is currently underway at the prayer hall, noting that prayers would only be conducted at the 'small' prayer hall.

According to the sources, in coordination with the municipality, the ministry will allow tents to be set up outside mosques.However, these tents are not intended for prayers, but to provide break from fasting for those who desire it.
