Arrests And Impoundments Reported By Jahra Security
Jahra Security Director, Brigadier General Saleh Oqla, confirmed that only one individual was caught throwing water balloons in Jahra Governorate patrols and has been referred to the appropriate authorities. Brigadier General Saleh Oqla, while present at the security checkpoint on Jaber Bridge, highlighted a decrease in reported fights and disturbances mainly attributing it to the organized setup of grocery stores and food trucks in designated areas for these establishments have curtailed conflicts.
Brigadier General Oqla mentioned that Jahra Security Directorate, in collaboration with Kuwait Municipality, dismantled over 60 camps breaching regulations.
Director of Operations at Jahra Security Directorate, Brigadier General Muhammad Taher Al-Ibrahim, outlined a specialized plan for camps at the Jaber Bridge security point this year, aimed at rectifying past mistakes. He noted the success of this plan in addressing previous issues by identifying and rectifying deficiencies in cooperation with Jahra Municipality.
Brigadier General Muhammad Ibrahim elaborated that Jahra security patrols apprehended 11 individuals vending balloons and foam, issuing environmental violations against them. Additionally, 480 traffic violations were recorded via surveillance systems, resulting in the impoundment of 30 vehicles. Fourteen juveniles were also detained for gathering, underscoring ongoing law enforcement efforts.
