Arab Arrested For Publishing A Clip Offensive To Security Men

The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of an Arab who filmed himself criticizing security men and ridiculing the measures taken by them and insulted the State of Kuwait in a video clip that was circulated on some social media sites on 10 March, Al Jarida reported.

After the video spread for less than an hour, the expat was arrested, who, when confronted with the clip, admitted that he was the one who filmed it in the Khaitan area. He was transferred to the authorities to take the necessary legal measures against him.

The ministry is monitoring and is alert to anyone who violates the laws in the country, stressing that it “will not accept such behavior and practices, especially ones insulting security men and the State of Kuwait.”
