An Ornament Shop With Religious Symbols Was Shut Down For Violations

Gold Jewellery shop in Salmiya closed for various violations, according to the Trade and Commerce Ministry.

Violations include displaying and selling items with prohibited religious symbols, as well as forging gold crafts that include famous international brands, issuing invoices in languages other than Arabic, and issuing invoices in languages other than Arabic. Additionally, the company issued non-electronic invoices and failed to keep customer information in the purchase invoice. It also failed to keep daily records of purchases and sales.

According to the ministry, gold works were sold in installments as well as collecting extra amounts for them.

The commercial control team monitored, verified, and followed up on the seizure. We have closed the shop, and we are pursuing legal action against the violator.
