Amendment Of Leave Balance From 5 Years To 7 Years

The Civil Service Bureau has addressed the Council of Ministers regarding the amendment of Article 40 of the decree of the civil service system, to increase the balance of state employee’s leave, for an additional two years, Al Qabas reported.

Responsible sources in the Bureau told the daily that the amendment will allow the employees to keep their leave balance for 6 years, in addition to the current year, so for a total of 7 years.

Currently, Article 40 stipulates maintaining the leave balance of 4 years in addition to the current year, with a total balance not exceeding 5 Years.
