Ambassadors And Diplomats Exempted From Curfew Restrictions

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has exempted all ambassadors and diplomats from curfew restrictions imposed in the country from 7 March.

In a circular released by the foreign ministry protocol affairs department, the ministry has requested diplomats to carry and produce their IDs when requested so that they can carry out their official and necessary duties. The new circular dated March 7 clarifies an earlier report which claimed diplomats were not given exemption during the curfew.
