Al-jazeera Has Returned 6,800 Citizens Through 60 Trips From 16 Cities

More than 6,800 citizens returned on board the 60 evacuation flights operated by Jazeera Airways, between 25 March and 10 May, in support of the efforts of the state to return all Kuwaiti citizens stranded outside the country due to the emerging Corona virus epidemic.
The company has conducted these trips and returned citizens from the cities of London, Warsaw, Moscow, Yerevan, Riyadh, Manama, Dubai, Doha, Amman, Istanbul, Alexandria, Cairo, Najaf, Tehran, Tbilisi and Sarajevo.
Since the suspension of all commercial flights to and from Kuwait International Airport starting from March 13, the company has been keen on expanding air freight services to support and serve local companies and institutions, and support them in providing food, products and other tools without interruption in Kuwait.

The company operated 23 air cargo flights to and from Kuwait International Airport during this period, and it loaded a total of 253.7 tons from destinations within 6 hours of flight from Kuwait, after it had obtained the necessary approvals from the General Administration of Civil Aviation, to fully allocate aircraft including Aircraft cabin for the purpose of air freight.

The company operates Airbus A320 planes with a payload of up to 18 tons each, while shipping to destinations depends on the approval of the regulatory authorities in each country.
Air Jazeera also conducted a number of flights for residents who left the country, which were scheduled according to the directives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the request of the local embassies, and added a comprehensive and sanitizing sterilization process for all planes after each flight, in addition to the detailed programmed and regular cleaning of all planes upon their arrival to Airport land.

Airplanes are also completely sprayed using a high-pressure disinfectant on the seats and throughout the cabin, using internationally approved sanitizing chemicals that are completely safe for all passengers, and replacing air filters on board frequently to ensure disposal of dust, allergens, bacteria, viruses and any particles Irritating to the air the passengers and crew breathe, as this helps to maintain a continuous flow of fresh air.
The company stressed in a statement, that pilots and hospitality crews are obligated to the full protective suits that cover their body and their entire face in order to preserve their safety and the safety of travelers, pointing out that they are subject to a sterilization process before they board and after disembarking.
She stated that travelers are obligated with a face mask and gloves, and to allow pre-packaged snacks to be provided, as a precaution, they will be placed on plane chairs.

Citizens are received upon arrival at the passenger reception center, which was built by “Jazeera Airways” on the land of Kuwait International Airport, with the aim of examining all returning passengers, and before transferring them to the institutional or home quarry. The Ministry of Health manages all checks and procedures within the center, which was designed in cooperation with the Ministry and the General Administration of Civil Aviation, the Ministry of Interior, and the General Fire Department
