Al-Mashaan Grants Authority For Transfers Of Municipal Departments To Al-Dabbous
Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, has issued a decision granting authorization to Eng. Saud Al-Dabbous, the Director General of the Municipality, to perform specific ministerial duties.
According to the decision: Article One: The Director General of the Municipality is empowered to execute certain powers delegated to the Minister under Decree Law No. 15 of 1979 regarding the Civil Service and the Decree issued on 4/4/1979 concerning the Civil Service System. This encompasses making transfer decisions for department directors and branch directors.
All municipal departments, excluding the General Secretariat of the Municipal Council, must adhere to the conditions outlined in the Civil Service Law, Regulations, and rules established by the Civil Service Council.
Article Two: The Director General of the Municipality and relevant sectors are instructed to take necessary actions to implement this decision, effective from the date of issuance.
Furthermore, Al-Mashaan endorsed the minutes of Municipal Council No. 15 from the previous session, which included decisions to accept a donation of 650 thousand dinars from the Commercial Bank for the restoration of the Darwazat Al-Abdul-Razzaq tunnel.
Another decision was made to expand activities in the insurance branch in the Mubarak Al-Abdullah area, incorporating services such as physical and occupational therapy, orthopedics, specialized medical clinics, rehabilitation and preventive health centers, a health institute, as well as a café and restaurant.
