After A Review, Over 10,000 Expatriates Lost Their Driving Licenses

Over 10,000 expatriates lost their driving licenses after the department reviewed the requirements for expatriates to obtain driving licenses. The traffic department expects to complete the process of review by end of the year.

The traffic department will discover more unrightful license holders, who will be summoned to surrender their licenses, reports indicated. Anyone who does not comply will be considered a violator and will be subjected to investigations.

Anyone who drives after their license has been revoked will face harsh penalties, especially after they were informed that their license has been suspended.

There are various reasons for canceling these licenses, from changing jobs to drawing the minimum required, i.e. KD 600.
