Actor Abdulhussain Abdulredha's Body Will Arrive In Kuwait On Wednesday Morning At 10-30 Am
Actor Dawood Hussein affirmed that the body of the late actor Abdulhussain Abdulredha will arrive in Kuwait on Wednesday morning at 10:30 am. The burial will happen same day in the afternoon at the Ja’afari cemetery, reports Al- Anba daily.
He indicated that the delay in completion of some documents and procedures had delayed the arrival of the body in Kuwait.
Hussein revealed that the ceremony for offering condolences will be in Al-Wazzan Mosque in Mishrif area for men, while for women, it will be at Bu Adnan’s house in Qadsiya area for three days starting from Thursday. Meanwhile, MP Safa Al-Hashim revealed about a proposal to name the New Arts Academy after the late actor Abdulhussain Abdulredha in appreciation of his role in the artistic field.
In another development, sources from the education sector said Ministry of Education is planning to name a school after the late actor Abdulhussain Abdulredha in appreciation for his significant and outstanding contributions to Kuwait and other Gulf and Arab nations for more than five decades. They clarified that a new school in Sabah Al-Ahmad area affiliated to Ahmadi Educational Zone will be named after the late actor.
Many Gulf actors and artists has expressed sorrow over the passing of renowned Kuwaiti actor Abdulhus- sain Abdulredha, who to them, rep- resented a father fi gure that taught valuable life and artistic lessons. In separate statement to KUNA on Tuesday, the actors said Abdulhus- sain Abdulredha was one of the most remarkable pillars of Kuwaiti and Gulf culture and arts.
;Saudi actor Abdulmohsen Al-Ne- mer said that Abdulhussain Abdul- redha was a very competent person and he will always remain as great role model. “Abdulhussain is an important figure in my life and we have worked together in (Al-Tendail) series,” said the Saudi actor.
For his part, Emirati actor Dr. Ha- bib Ghuloom said that he would lead an official delegation from the UAE’s theatrical arts association to attend and participate in the burial ceremony of Abdulredah as well as offering condolences.
This artist deserves all the appreciation as he has devoted his life for nearly six decades to serve arts and culture, he said.
Omani artist and car- toonist Fahad Al-Zadjali said that he met Abdulhussain in Kuwait, which was a great honor. The Omani artist said he was glad to have heard words of praise while he presented the prolific Kuwaiti ac- tor with a caricature as a token of gratitude. In Kuwait, artist Abdullah Bah- man said the death of Abdulhussian is a big lost for the arts and cultural movements. He always focused in his works on loyalty and love to this country, affirmed Bahman.
He left a good reputation and impact for artists and people, said Bahman, adding that the departed Kuwaiti actor drew smiles for more than 50 years on the faces of people in Kuwait and all around the world.
