Abnormal Winter Weather In Kuwait

Al-Fintas Astronomical Observatory Director Adel Al-Saadoun observed that the winter weather in Kuwait has been “abnormal” without the usual expectations of past winter weather conditions. He pointed out that the expected rain did not fall, but reasoned that “normal cold winter weather” conditions common to this period are probably delayed and will likely manifest in the middle or end of January.

Saadoun stated that the next four to five days will see a continuation of the abnormal weather conditions, with the lowest temperature being five degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius the maximum.

He noted that it would be different from last year when the temperatures fell to subzero in the same period. The official weather forecast on the website of the Meteorological Department of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation forecasts the maximum temperature over the next four days in the range between 25 C and 27 C degrees, while the minimum is between 7 C and 9 C degrees.
