A Five-year Prison Sentence And Fine Of 1.360 Million Dinars Were Imposed On Al Jarrah And Al Shalahi

On bribery charges related to Bangladeshi MP Kazi Shahid Islam Papul, the Appeals Court headed by Wael Al Atiqi sentenced Sheikh Maj. Gen Mazen Al Jarrah and Nawaf Al Shalahi to 5 years imprisonment and fined them one million 360 thousand Kuwait dinars.

According to the Public Prosecution, the accused had committed a money laundering crime of 860000 Kuwaiti dinars by writing checks knowing that the amount received was bribes.
