866 New Coronavirus Infections Plus Single Death

As of Thursday morning, Kuwait's Ministry of Health reported 866 new infection cases with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) during the past 24 hours, raising the tally to 617,275 cases.

In particular, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, press secretary for the ministry, told KUNA there were 1,805 new recovery cases, bringing the total back to 601,396, according to Al-Sanad. The death toll increased by one to 2,534, and he noted that
The number of intensive-care patients was 72, while the number of patients who received medical treatment overall was 13,355. There are 239 cases in the covid wards as of now. Dr. Al-Sanad also reported that 25186 PCRs were conducted, and that 7.553,030 PCRs were administered in total.
