539 New Cases Of Coronavirus

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health declared on Wednesday recording 539 new infection cases with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) during the last 24 hours bringing the caseload to 155,874. Meanwhile, the medical authorities registered a single death due to contamination with the contagion during the same period, raising the death toll to 947.

MoH official spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said in a statement to KUNA that number of the patients who continued to receive medical treatment at intensive care units stood at 48. Meanwhile, the whole count of the cases of confirmed infection with the germ and remained under medical care stood at 5,118. Dr. Al-Sanad added that the medical authorities conducted, over the past 24 hours, 11,567 swab tests with the overall tally of such examinations hitting 1.359,421.
