524 Persons Diagnosed With Covid-19, One Death

On Saturday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced that 524 people had been diagnosed with the novel virus (COVID-19) during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 622,489. During the same period, 1,083 recovery cases were recorded, making the entire number of the cured 613,669. Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the ministry's spokesperson added.

There was one death reported, bringing the total death toll to 2,544. Moreover, he reported 38 cases at intensive care units, while 6 276 cases were still receiving treatment. In the meantime, there are 182 cases in the covid-19 wards. In addition, Dr. Al-Sanad stated that 10,475 PCRs were conducted over the past 24 hours, with a total of 7.713.564 tests being performed.
