Municipality To Terminate Half Of Expats

The Minister of Municipalities called M. Walid Al-Jasem, to end about 50% of the municipal employees  after the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

A source revealed that Minister Al-Jasem chaired a meeting yesterday of the heads of the sectors through the electronic screen and informed them that today lists of employees ’names will be distributed in each sector so that each sector president will choose the names of employees who wish to dispense with them and provide a list of names tomorrow, Thursday,

Dispensing and handing it over to employees after Eid. The source added that the minister asked any sector head to not end the services of half the numbers, who has to justify the reason for this and the extent of the need for work for them, stressing that ending the services of half the numbers of employees is considered a first stage until reaching zero. The source indicated that the termination of services includes all jobs, including engineers, law, secretaries and delegates, as well as all sectors without exception, including the municipal council.
