5 Domestic Workers Labor Offices Shut In Hawalli And Ahmadi Governorates

Teams affiliated to the Domestic Workers Department recently embarked on an inspection campaign against some domestic workers labor offices in Hawalli and Ahmadi governorates during which they arrested an Egyptian and an Ethiopian for illegal recruitment of domestic workers. According to a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the officials also closed down five offices where some domestic workers who ran away from their sponsors were being sheltered. The arrested individuals were referred to concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them.
