4 Asians Arrested For Trafficking In Liquor

Four Indians were arrested by Farwaniya security operatives for trafficking in liquor. A security source said the officers raided the suspect’s apartment in Ardiya area, which served as a liquor factory, and confiscated barrels of liquor alongside equipment for manufacturing alcohol. Apparently, Farwaniya Security Chief Brigadier Saleh Al-Enzi received information about some expatriates turning their apartment into a brewery and he ordered a team of securitymen to trail them.

In the meantime, the officers monitored the location to confirm the information before raiding the apartment. All four suspects admitted manufacturing alcohol for trafficking purpose, and they were referred to concerned authorities. A security source said security officers will continue the campaign to bring criminals to justice as per the directive of acting Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah
