3627 Expatriates’ Work Permits Cancelled In Two Weeks

3,627 work permits for expatriates was cancelled within two weeks between 12 to  24 January, according to official figures issued by the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM).

According to the figures, among them are 1,538 expatriates whose work permits have been revoked due to the expiration of residency visas while they are stranded outside the country, 230 work permit cancellations for the workers’ death, and 1859 cancellation of work permits for their departure from the country.
